Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of Football Financial Model, provided by Alchemy Sports Ventures LLC (“we”, “us”), including the marketing site and the application. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.

2. What the service is

Football Financial Model provides five-year financial scenario modelling for professional football clubs, and an optional database of published club financial statements. It is provided for informational and analytical purposes only and does not constitute financial, investment, accounting, or legal advice. Outputs are model estimates; actual outcomes will differ.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. One person or entity per account, unless you hold a team plan with additional seats.

4. Subscriptions, trials and billing

Your subscription renews automatically. Paid plans are billed annually and renew for a further year on each anniversary unless you cancel before the renewal date. We charge the payment method on file. You can cancel at any time from inside the app, in a few clicks — see How to cancel below.

• Free trial. The trial runs for 14 days with constrained features and no payment card required. It does not convert to a paid plan — it simply ends, and nothing is charged. If you want to continue, you choose a plan and subscribe.
• Paid plans. Subscriptions are billed annually in euros through our payment processor (Stripe). Prices are as shown on the Pricing page and exclude applicable taxes.
• Renewal. Plans renew annually on the anniversary of purchase, at the then-current price for your plan, unless cancelled beforehand. We will notify you in advance of a renewal where the law requires it.
• How to cancel. Cancel in the app under Settings → Billing → Manage plan. Cancellation is self-service, takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for, and access continues until then. You cannot cancel from a receipt or billing email — those are records, not controls. If you cannot reach your account, email support@footballfinancialmodel.com and we will action it for you.
• Upgrading. An upgrade takes effect immediately and starts a new annual term from the date of the upgrade. Your previous term ends at that point; it is not extended, carried over, or refunded pro rata.
• Downgrading. A downgrade takes effect at your next renewal, not immediately. You keep your current plan’s features until then.
• Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails we retry it up to eight times over approximately two weeks, and your access continues throughout. If it has not succeeded by the end of that period, the subscription is cancelled. A cancelled subscription cannot be reactivated — continuing means subscribing again as a new purchase.
• If your subscription ends. Your saved scenarios and their results remain in your account and stay viewable, read-only. You will not be able to create or run new ones until you subscribe again.
• Refunds. Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. Any refund policy we offer will be stated at purchase.
• Team seats. Additional members are billed per seat as shown on the Pricing page; the account admin manages seats and billing.
• Complimentary access. We sometimes grant free or discounted access. Where we do, these Terms apply in full, but the billing provisions above apply only to the extent you are actually charged.

Consumers in the European Union and United Kingdom. If you are buying as a consumer rather than for business purposes, you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. Because access begins immediately on subscribing, you are asking us to start supplying the service within that period, and the right of withdrawal ends once supply has begun. This does not affect your other statutory rights. Purchases made for business purposes are not consumer contracts and this right does not apply.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including: attempting to breach security or access accounts or data that are not yours; interfering with or disrupting the service; or using it in violation of applicable law.

Automated access and usage limits. The service is licensed for use by people, not programs. We apply per-account rate limits and other technical measures to protect it; you must not attempt to circumvent them, share credentials in order to exceed them, or access the service through automated clients, scripts or scrapers, except where we have agreed otherwise in writing.

6. Intellectual property and data rights

The service, its software, model, design and content are owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service for your own business or personal analysis while your subscription is active. Read-only access to scenarios you have already created continues as described in Section 4.

No redistribution or scraping. You may not copy, resell, republish, sublicense, or otherwise redistribute the model outputs or the financial-statement database, in whole or in substantial part, whether manually or by automated means. You may not scrape, crawl, bulk-download, or systematically extract data from the service, or use it to build or train a competing product or dataset. Reasonable individual use — viewing, and downloading within any stated per-month limits — is permitted.

7. Third-party data

The statements database is compiled from published club financial statements and public reference data. It is provided for analysis within the service and is subject to the restrictions in Section 6.

8. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Figures are model estimates derived from published accounts and public reference data; we do not warrant their accuracy, completeness, or fitness for any particular decision. Football Financial Model is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by UEFA, FIFA, any national league, governing body, or football club.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for any decisions made in reliance on the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to protect the service or other users. On termination, the licence in Section 6 ends.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Kings County, New York, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time; the “last updated” date reflects the current version. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
